Euronews │ Discover Estonia & Moldova Wines

In 2023, Euronews contacted Vita Pictura to produce a series about Estonia for the largest European television channel watched by half a billion people in 160 countries.

The television channel needed three five-minute videos, social media content, three one-minute videos of people profiles, stills, and translation into seven languages of Euronews – Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Russian, and English.

After the successful first collaboration on “Discover Estonia”, we took over another project for Euronews – this time the filming had to be done in Moldova for the “Explore Moldova” brand. Both episodes were hosted and produced by Anca Ulea.

“Discover Estonia” television episodes

The episodes aired on Euronews in September and October of 2023 to viewers across Europe. Vita Pictura teamed up with a television host Anca Ulea who wrote the script and managed the co-production of the series by organising the locations and the interviews in order to acquaint the audience with the three themes – food, culture, and nature.

Our team managed to stay within the required budget by involving a small team of mobile and flexible professionals, working on the project within several weeks. From translating the content into six languages to following the post-production guidelines of Euronews, we managed to produce unique content that speaks about Estonia to foreign audiences.

The three episodes include the following themes: “Sunrise swims in ancient bogs: How Estonians are logging off from their tech-savvy lives?, “Estonia: Where the old and the new embrace”, and “Estonia: A hidden delight for a gastronomic adventure.”

“Wine of Moldova” episode

Another video content we produced for Euronews was the episode on Wine of Moldova, exploring the wines of the country situated between Ukraine and Romania. Our team took the same approach as with “Discover Estonia”, using a small mobile team to shoot the content in various locations. For this  episode our team provided Euronews with the 20 second promotional video and stills.
