Benjamin Michel.

Benjamin Michel is a filmmaker based out of Oakland, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. Art has long been an integral part of his rich culture and upbringing. His early passions were in the fine arts, primarily drawing and painting. As he grew into his late teens and learned about the value of images through photography, he gravitated towards cinema. Benjamin graduated with an Associates in Arts from Valencia Community College and a Bachelors of Arts in Film from the University of Central Florida. He alternates his work between being a cinematographer, director and photographer. He has worked internationally and the films he had worked on have been screened at a variety of film festivals including Global Peace Film Festival and San Diego Black Film Festival.
