Blind Channel is one of Vita Pictura’s most important long-term music-related clients. The band Blind Channel requires music videos and concert-related content and has worked with us closely for many years since we deliver content quickly and in the best possible quality.
The most listened-to Finnish band of 2022, Blind Channel, is one of the most important Finnish music industry clients of Vita Pictura. Vita Pictura’s collaboration with the Finnish rock band Blind Channel started several years ago while filming the music videos “Over My Dead Body” and “Snake.” The shoot was a creative explosion, so the band and our production team decided to continue working together for more music videos in the following years.
After the band’s success at the Eurovision Contest representing Finland, they returned to Vita Pictura for more music videos for their new album “Lifestyles of the Sick & Dangerous.”
This became the record for music video productions for a single album – we produced two different music videos for the song “Bad Idea” (watch the alternative music video here), “Don’t Fix Me”, and “Balboa.”
The band always shared their ideas before any shoot and was closely involved in the music video making. Hence, the process always went smoothly and allowed for creative expression for the band and Vita Pictura’s video production team.
Our latest music video production for the band was for the tracks “Flatline” and “Happy Doomsday.” The music video for “Flatline” was shot in a single day, back-to-back with the other music video for the same band, and the final cut was ready in three business days! This is a unique example of lightning-fast production and post-production that is possible with Vita Pictura.
In addition to filming the band’s live events and music videos, we produced live visuals for their biggest concert and tour. The animation was shown on large screens at the concerts to accompany the band’s performance. The live visuals have been created in collaboration with our long-term Italian-based partner Elephant Studio.
To take a glimpse of what it is like to film with Blind Channel, take a look at our behind-the-scenes video for “Balboa.”
Blind Channel’s biggest concert in Helsinki Ice Hall gathered thousands of fans, and the band decided to capture the concert in a short artist recap video. Such a video gives an overview of the artist’s performance. It portrays the general atmosphere of the concert, with its fans, special effects, and the band’s talent.
